Originals 'Latex Lovers'

'Latex Lovers'

$3,100.00

Acrylic on canvas, framed in Tasmanian oak (black)

90cm x 90cm

Featuring Melbourne-based models @kinky.bi.nature and @Curls111, ‘Latex Lovers’ captures a moment that’s intimate, but just out of reach. The two lean in, lips barely touching, yet there’s distance — separated by a latex mask and a thick, glossy red drip that slides across their faces. It’s a visual barrier between them, and between us as viewers. We’re invited to witness something close, but not quite ours to hold.

Latex has long held a place in kink as both aesthetic and tool — known for heightening sensation, hugging the body tightly, restricting movement, increasing circulation and amplifying arousal. It presses against the skin, exaggerating every breath, every brush of contact. That tension — of being confined but aware, of being touched without being touched — is central to the feeling of this piece.

This work is about sensory build-up. The want. The delay. The closeness without full access. It’s a reminder that sometimes what’s between us is what creates the charge.
