Love Me captures a moment of quiet intimacy — a gentle embrace between lovers, soft in palette and pose. The composition mirrors earlier solo works, particularly ‘Look Closer’ and ‘No Nip, No Tip’, where themes of identity, sexuality, and feminist resistance were explored through her own body.

In this piece, the familiar hand placement and exposed chest reappear — but this time, there is another presence. The inclusion of her partner adds a new layer to the work: vulnerability in connection, and the transformative power of being held.

This painting marks a shift — from self-exploration to shared tenderness. It acknowledges that pleasure doesn’t always come from pain, performance, or domination. Sometimes, the most radical act is softness. Sometimes, the kinkiest thing you can do, is love me.
